Original artwork description:

Inspired by a beautiful rugged landscape of northern California coast, I painted this plein air seascape at Mendocino Headlands. I was fascinated by the interplay and overlapping of cliffs reflections and their shadows, creating many colorful changes in the water.

Materials:
Oil on oil primed Claessens Belgian linen canvas on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, finished with melamine backing that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

This painting is framed in a black wood frame and is ready to hang. Framed size is 22x18 inches.
