Original artwork description:

Painted en plein air (outside on location) in Point Lobos, California. When painting on location, an artist needs to make quick decisions and paint fast to capture the changing light and to try to express the mood and feel of the place. Hence, the loose, spontaneous, expressive brush strokes using thick, juicy oil paint, featuring the movement of the waves, and the roughness of the cliffs.

Materials:
Oil on Centurion Premium Oil Primed DLX Linen Artists’ Panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

The painting is listed and sold unframed, and will require a frame to hang. It will easily fit into a standard (US) 11"x14" frame.
