Memories of the high moorland tops of the Pennine mountains of England, Yorkshire moors, Northumberland, Dartmoor, or the Peak District with their flat rolling hills and treeless purple heather grouse moors with swirling grey mists on an atmospheric misty morning as the mist begins to clear and the cloudy sky begins to appear.. In this moody atmospheric painting I have tried to convey the atmosphere and mood of the moors. Painted in a minimalist abstract impressionist style in muted blue grey and purple colours.

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
