Clearing (40X30) is a subtle yet broad-stroked landscape abstraction completed in high-textured oils on gallery-wrap canvas. This image appeared intuitively after one of the brief summer afternoon showers/thunderstorms that occur frequently along the East Coast. After the storm, the air feels lighter, the light gleams brighter and yet there's also a revised subtlety to the changed landscape as though Mother Nature had just swept it clean. With rims finished in black, this piece is ready to hang and/or frame.
