The iconic wisteria bridge at Monet's garden in Giverny was painted by the artist using thick impasto oil paints and lively brush strokes. The beautiful wisteria flowers are in full bloom and you can almost smell their heady intoxicating smell! The artist has captured the moment just after dawn and before the summer heat. There is a gentle mist over the garden and a real feeling of peace and tranquility. Monet's garden is a favourite subject of Zoe's and this is her latest painting in her very successful Giverny series.
