To live by the sea in Cornwall is a privilege - there is endless inspiration whatever the season. However I love early spring as the coastal paths begin to wake up and the sea starts to look inviting.
This painting is of the coast around Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre. The sea is really that colour, the sand smooth and the early flowering blackthorn is everywhere to be seen.

Painted on a deep edge canvas and ready to hang.
