I have painted similar scenes previously as I am drawn to this moment in time, to an evocative point, a glimmer of nostalgia. The train is mysteriously empty, even the time of day is unknown, even the year. Eerie light, a retro green, the ochre and earthy floor. An unusual and intense painting that makes a perfect addition to any collection.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
