This painting is made of the bridge in the city park, which is in Budapest.
I made this painting based on many photos. An interesting place in Budapest was the inspiration. I tried to do the painting with very precise drawing. I love the details because I see the greatness of the experience. Photo similarity does not mean copying a photo. I respect old masters who could paint the details well and strive for loyalty. But beyond that, one can get to the depths of a topic. I love my great city Budapest, whose experience is always an inspiration to me. I believe that the city has a spirit and the people who live there feel good about it. This is what I would like to express with this painting.
I made the painting with good quality Hungarian oil paints, the pigment content is quite high. I used a dye, turpentine as a diluent. No siccative, because I painted quickly in summer.
I apply the paint in layers, underlining like old masters.
