This is a five colour multi block linoprint. It depicts the view of the city as seen from the Southbank. It is a view I see often as I take my turn to look after the gallery at Southbank Printmakers in Gabriel’s Wharf. In this print I wanted to detail the juxtaposition of the age and history of the Thames, foreshore and jetty with the modernity of the skyline.
Materials used:
Somerset satin paper and traditional oil based printing inks
