Original artwork description:

Watercolor painting “City landscape with the sea. Greece” was painted from life during my plein air travel in Greece in 2021.

The plot was seen and painted in the beautiful city of Neos Marmaras on the Sithonia peninsula in the Halkidiki region. The turquoise color of the water in the sea, urban architecture and blue in the background have formed a single composition.

There is a school next to the place where I painted. When I was drawing, the kids all the time shouted at me from behind the fence of the school something in Greek. Then I realized that they are addressing me "zografos" which means an artist. And they also shouted some words in Greek that I did not understand.

And only with time I realized that they were asking me to show them my drawing. When I showed them my finished picture, a whole crowd of children violently expressed their emotions with shouts and applause. It was incredibly moving.
The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the proceeds from the sale of my paintings go to the realization of my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus that I will equip and will live in, travel and paint in it.
