A big city is a big contrast.
People, industrial buildings, intimacy and “everything to show.” Here, in the picture, this is expressed by contrasts of color, sharpness of form.
And a lot of light blue is the color of air, the color that always surrounds us.
This is one picture from a series of my works in which I combine oil painting and collage. I carry out part of the colored spots with paint, and part of the “strokes” replace pictures from magazines.
Here, these fragments play the role of spontaneous “smears”. It turns out, in my opinion, more interesting.
