"City" is an original artwork created with acrylic colours on canvas.
The edge is painted in black and ready to be hung up.
It will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
This piece was inspired by a wonderful trip I made to Cambodia. Whilst staying in the quiet town of Kampot by the Praek Tuek Chhu River, I had a very special moment sitting on a jetty under the stars by the water. It was almost silent and so still, the sky so dark and clear. I wanted to portray the moment, with the sparkling lights coming through the trees on the horizon, of random homes and the few signs of life I could see. It was a moment of clarity, reflection and taking stock of my life.
My point of view:
I think that there is never a right or wrong way to make art.
The most important thing is trying. Do not raise any barriers that prevent you from expressing yourself.
Just do it and make something.
Please note that the background images are only used for display purposes and please consider the dimensions mentioned.
Acrylic colours on canvas with mixed media. Finished with final varnish to protect it against sunlight and dust.
