Artwork description:

Inspired by a vintage 'Blue Bird' Confectionary tin I found in the local bric-a-brac shop.

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino printed on Japanese Similie paper using water washable inks
