As an artist, I am always looking for new directions in which to take my work. With this Circle series, I am hoping to also find a new way of thinking. All my life I have worked within a rectangle and on occasions a square. Working inside a circle needs a totally new way of thinking, a way that I am still exploring. With this drawing, I found that old habits die hard, hence The first thing I did was draw a square. I must get rid of these habits if I am to achieve my goal.
