Inspired by 19th century Japanese woodblocks. I have attempted to evoke atmospheric effects in this little painting with a different palette.
This little painting is one of a new series of circular works in gouache. They stand alone but also look very good as a group.
This painting floats in the frame. The glass is museum quality non-reflective and the frame is custom made solid wood boxy style.
