Original artwork description:

This painting reveals a strong influence of elements of Chinese Ming style painting with its spaciousness and natural depiction of landscape elements. The most favoured colour scheme for shading these rocks was with blue and green, the two mineral pigments derived from natural stone deposits.

This little painting is one of a new series of circular works in gouache. They stand alone but also look very good as a group.

This painting floats in the frame. The glass is museum quality non-reflective and the frame is custom made solid wood boxy style.
