Original artwork description:

An image that I was inspired by was a photograph of a white swan peacefully floating on the wintery dark green waters of Trieste gulf in North Italy. I wanted my painting to represent peace and quiet and calm of the nature in my beloved Italian North. Everything is fragile but at the same time very real. I wanted and I hope I have achieved a very airy image, as if you were looking onto 20 by 28 cm limited canvas but felt the space, the breeze, the lasting moment and your mind could draw the rest of the surrounding.
I used sand texture paste and acrylic paints to create it.
