This is an urban sketch in ink and watercolour, of one of Shrewsbury's many quaint little streets.
True to the principles of urban sketching, I drew this in ink on location one blowy August evening. However, I added the watercolour back in the studio.
The paper is 13 x 13.5 inch Canson Montval 300 g/m2 watercolour paper.
