Words and reflection
Of a very special place in the “ Isle of Purbeck “ in between Corfe castle and Kimmeriidge bay.
Original artwork, created on rough textured acid free cotton free Fabriano watercolour paper 300gsm 140lb.
I used a sable hair brush and applied a build up of back washes of different colours. Then dropped or dabbed the flowers on wet on wet [whilst the paper is wet]. I enjoyed painting this scene very much and I can’t wait to go back there again in early summer.
