one of a series of mixed-media studies for a larger painting on paper (currently in progress)

based on the overlapping of three quick pencil sketches of three different Russian medieval paintings of St. George And The Dragon

it employs operations such of geometric and chromatic REDUCTION, SIMPLIFICATION, SUPERIMPOSING, JUXTAPOSITION, REORGANIZATION
in essence, it is the reduction, simplification, superimposing, juxtaposition and reorganization of the paintings

it examines/revolves around concepts/ideas of FRAGMENTATION, INSTABILITY, INTERFERENCE and INTERACTION among shapes, forms and fields
