Original artwork description:

I always enjoy painting flowers in the dark days of winter. I have a few Christmas Roses or hellebores, growing in my small garden and I have depicted them in this very small oil on board painting.
The image measures 9 x 9 cm approx. It comes presented in a hand cut white mount that measures 20.5 x 25.5 cm which fits ready made frames. If you don't want to frame it, this painting can be displayed as it comes, propped on a shelf or mantlepiece as illustrated.
The painting is signed on the reverse of the board and in pencil on the front of the mount.
