The Acrylic Painting on 300gsm Paper is one of a series of pictures done whilst visiting Queensland, Australia during December 2018.
This painting was done on Christmas Day and I was very impressed by how many people went to the Beach from very early in the morning. As an Englishman, the Australian Christmas weather has always amazed me because it is Summer and the hottest season, this is very different to an English Christmas! This picture was also done from our room in the 21st Floor of the Mantra on View Hotel, where we were very lucky to have a beautiful elevated viewpoint. I prefer to work outside if I can, but the sun and heat were too strong to allow this, so I worked from indoors. (Finally, after to many cases of heatstroke I am learning!) I like to draw and paint all subjects, but the Ocean is a challenge of its own as it is constantly moving in different ways and the colours are affected by the weather. It is always a fun challenge!

Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
