This little carol singer is one of the many carol singers who took part in the Christmas procession through the streets of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Christmas 2024. The day before, Kyiv was once again shelled by Russian missiles - with destruction and casualties. The day after these terrible events, Ukrainians put on their best ethnic clothes, make paper stars and walk through the streets of their city to sing carols and praise God.

This girl with a lamp and angel wings and with eyes full of love - like a ray of light and hope.
