Original acrylic on canvas large inspirational abstract painting stretched on a wooden frame.
The Homage to Frederic Chopin.
My attempt to express love for piano music and the genius of Polish composer and pianist and a little bit of love, harmony, and warmth in a hostile sea of today's brutality and distraction.
As a background, actual music sheets of Chopin's sonatas and mazurkas were glued to the canvas with archival PVA. Acrylic was applied with a variety of tools and texture mediums and gels.
Romantic, bright, and cheerful. Pop Art and Street Art influence. It is a part of the ongoing project “ HEART MATTERS”.
The master-quality material has been used. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the front.
