Just one of those nights. I go out to a café round the corner from my lodgings. Good music and some sketching. This painting is based on one of those sketches, done some time in early 2017. I also wanted the painting to have a sketch type of feel to it. I’ve since lost track of the sketches, they’re somewhere in the studio. It’s just too bad I lost touch with these two ladies…
The close up picture is to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress. Sketch can be included if it is still available.
