A little precious gift from Nature, so small yet so overwhelmingly scented. Whenever it take in its aroma my mind inevitably brings up the memory of my grandmother. She used to make little ball shaped sweets using almond flour, sugar and egg whites and when they were done, she'd decorate them sticking a clove in the middle of them that would have added flavor to that delicious sweet ball.
I had to honor this peculiar spice adding it to my collection. It is also a way to revive the memory of my beloved grandmother.
