Chinese lanterns, honesty and bullrushes in a glass vase make a beautiful late summer/autumn display. I used a turquoise blue background to set off the orangey-red of the chinese lanterns.
Both chinese lanterns and honesty have angular bendy stems, which makes them interesting to paint as well as display.
