Most of the summers during my childhood I spent with my grand parents in their small and quiet village. Usually I was helping my grandmother in her gardens, growing potatoes or peanuts. But when I was free I was going with the local kids at the river swimming and fishing.
This painting is an emotional and sentimental memory from these distant times.
