Original artwork description:

One element that should always speak in my paintings is the paint itself. I love this medium and, whatever subject I'm rendering, oil paint gets a voice. I hope my viewers connect with the subject, but that they'll also establish an emotional connection with strokes of knife and brush.
Clouds near my home stoked hours of creative moments, and brought back early memories of hours spent "finding objects" in them.
