In Canada, the Indian residential school system was a network of boarding schools for Indigenous peoples. Attendance was mandatory from 1894 to 1947. The network was funded by the Canadian government's Department of Indian Affairs and administered by Christian churches.
Recently an investigation has found 751 unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Saskatchewan. This is hardly a unique discovery. Canadian indigenous communities have been making allegations of child abuse and murder at these schools since the beginning of this program. An estimated 6,000 children died while attending these schools, according to former Truth and Reconciliation Commission chair Murray Sinclair.
This was designed to do one thing and one thing only. That was to exterminate the Canadian indigenous people.
