Cherub or cherubin is one of the unearthly beings who directly attend to God, according to Abrahamic religions. The numerous depictions of cherubim assign to them many different roles, such as protecting the entrance of the Garden of Eden. De Coelesti Hierarchia places them in the highest rank alongside Seraphim and Thrones.

In March 2020 a big solo exhibition was supposed to be opened in Berlin. I named it "Paradise Lost - Berlin Garden of Eden". I have created the whole universe in ceramics from heaven to the earth. This Cherub is a part of it
Real gold was used for his nimb.
