This is impressionistic artwork full of joy brightness and energy like beautiful spring time around us. Blooming cherry tree seems to give its tenderness to the world and I always want to stop time running so fast. Thick impasto layers shows the flowers texture and bright blue of the sky is the best scene for this magic performance.
I saw that Damien Hirst was preparing an exhibition with his works in the same colours and mood. No doubt spring gives similar impressions to different artists.
The work has painted edges and ready to hang.
