I often have lemons in my paintings. And there are two reasons for this, and maybe more.
Here are the main ones. First, I love the color yellow. This is the color of the sun.
Secondly, I love lemons, especially with tea.
When I was a child, I could even eat lemon with peel and without sugar.
When my throat started to hurt, my mother immediately gave me lemon instead of pills. And it really helped.

I wrote these lemons with oil pastels, an exciting material with great possibilities. The base of this painting is canvas, which is unconventional for pastels. I fixed the pastel layer in a particular way. Therefore, it is not necessary to cover the painting with glass.
