Entitled: Chasing Dusk, Sycamore Gap - Beautiful Original Oil Painting

A place never to be forgotten and will be forever in our dreams. The magical Sycamore Tree, along Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. Famous from the Robinhood Prince Of Thieves Film. One of my favourite places to paint and capture. You can feel the centuries of time in the air. Captured here in a beautiful 'dreamlike' scene, filled with colour, dusky light and magic. You can feel the gentle summer winds in the air. Painted from my photographs, memory, and a mix of imagination, for I have added beautiful Summer Heathers, along with a delightful palette of colours. Beautiful to enjoy all year round.
