An acrylic painting of three British birds on stretched canvas.

I have painted these three birds straight onto the raw canvas. The background is empty, and the lack of context forces the viewer to interpret the situation and form their own story.

I enjoy creating a dialogue between my characters and although it’s unlikely this group of birds would be seen together in nature, I like to skew the normal in my paintings whilst keeping it within the realms of believable.
