Tree glowing with inner light; the tips of the branches are bursting into new green shoots.
Painted on the first sun filled afternoon after the heavy snows that we've experienced in Lincolnshire when our village was cut off in snowdrifts for three days!
On my Instagram account there is a photograph of the tree and this work in progress - the tree sits at the bottom of my garden and provides constant inspiration!

An impulsive drawing in intense black Pierre Noir pencil with an acrylic wash in white and brown on mid-grey Khadi paper with green Caran d'Ache highlights. There is also a skim of gold acrylic on the tree trunk and lower branches.

Khadi handmade cotton rag paper from India - 210 gsm paper with an uneven but pretty deckled edge.

Posted flat with a certificate of authenticity, wrapped in tissue, in a reinforced envelope, sent by Tracked Postage.
