The color is all Silver, the trick is that the colors change like a chameleon whenever you placed it near another object so it will pick some of the colors, dark or light, while still showing waves. It's looking Gold when on direct sunshine.
If you would like to have it dark, just place it near a black object, like a sofa or other piece of furniture.
