Original artwork description:

I painted 'Chalk Stacks at Botany Bay' on location at Botany Bay, which is not far from my studio. It was a warm and bright day in late summer, and I was painting from the clifftop with friends. It is an original oil painting on canvas board in the impressionist manner and I have signed it in the lower left corner.
It shows people on the beach, the lifeguards hut, and the famous chalk stacks and cliffs opposite with the sea beyond, beneath a fast moving cloudy sky. The sunlight was catching some of wave tops as the tide advanced.
It comes to you carefully wrapped and with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
It will make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys or knows the Kentish chalk cliffs, to the east of the well known cliffs at Dover.
It is NOT framed. The photos are to illustrate how it might look on your wall.
