A geometric arm chair in a subdued, but textured, gray palette. Small, scribbled symbols outline the chair, referencing my background as a graphic designer. This piece features a pebbled texture that is a result of the photo transfer technique I used, where I place an inkjet print face down on my surface and, using a medium, I put pressure onto the back of the print to transfer it.
“The Chair” is a work on paper. This piece would pair well with my “Disfashionate White” pieces, made with the same photo transfer technique, creating a monochromatic gallery wall that will adapt easily to different decorative schemes.
My work is a mix of many things, and created in a number of ways. Sometimes viscerally — with brush in hand — fueled by loud music, emotion and caffeine, other times it’s more meditative, working in a deliberate fashion. Part of my process is the naming each piece, or series of pieces, and as a lover of words and language, I often feel that a piece or series is not complete until a name is crafted.
This artwork is signed and titled on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The artwork will be carefully wrapped in padding and packed flat for shipping. All shipping is done via FedEx. Please contact me if you have any questions or special requests.
