I internalize my environment and the critical elements show up in my work. These include abstracts, figurative compositions and realism. As a transplant to the US from India I experienced the angst caused by cultural and physical dislocation; with experience and time, the tensions between the pull of the homeland to the adopted land continue to shift and play into my work.
