I FALL IN LOVE with the works of CARAVAGGIO

I was a child when on the television (in black and white) the images of the exhibition that were inaugurated in Naples in those days were flowing: it was love at first sight.

I still remember how strong my heart was beating and the desire to know and see his works live certainly started that day.

I had a hard time choosing which work to reinterpret, so I started with the one we all know: FRUIT BASKET.

I removed almost all the colors, leaving only the mark, the shape, but then I couldn't resist and colored an apple, two grapes and part of the basket.
The image I created is suspended because I wanted to place that basket in the place of memory.

The work is signed on the back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
