Original artwork description:
When creating ‘Cerith’ I started with my favourite colour palette. He includes 10 different colours. I decided to keep him as balanced as possible, but to use mostly cooler colours on one side and mostly warmer colours on the other. I am pleased with the end result. As with the majority of my work, I feel he gives a good ‘hit’ of colour and is a ‘happy’ piece.
The canvas measures 40cm x 80cm and has an edge measuring 4.5cm. The edge is a feature in it’s own right. The canvas is a slightly unusual size, which I feel adds to his appeal.
He is signed on the back and so can be hung at any orientation.
