Artwork description:
Five fields growing cereals dominate this ground plan of farmland just to the East of Great Dunham, about three miles from where I live. Pingos punctuate the fields, a track drifts through a wild area in the middle and a former railway line crosses the bottom. Have you ever wondered what images the ground keeps? And whether these fields portray a couple who once lived here, perhaps a hundred years ago when trains ran by.
This is an original relief print pulled from engravings cut in rubber. The complete edition is 5 prints only. The sheet is 10½ x 15½ inches (263x394mm) and the image is 6½ x 9½ inches (165x241mm). I can trim the sheet to a particular size if you would like. Please feel free to contact me to put a question or make a remark.
