Original artwork description:

While travelling in the south of France I stayed at a lovely place in Beaumes-des-Venise. The decoration of the hotel was quite special and this little still life was set in their patio. How could I not paint it?
The roughness of the paper was ideal for me to depict the texture and shading of these ceramic pieces, especially the spheres, and of the wooden table.

Materials used:

Artist watercolour pigments on cold pressed 300g watercolour paper
