This original oil painting is one of the latest artworks of the talented contemporary Bulgarian artist, deeply inspired by photorealism and Bulgarian folk art. It represents nine young women dressed in Bulgarian national folklore costumes, as its trait is to present the world solely from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas. The artist sought to express the meaning of emotional experience rather than the actual physical surface reality.
