Abstract impressionist landscape painting.

Colour and nature are at the heart of all my artwork. Early autumn has so many warm colours, warm light, daily changing light, and a quickly changing landscape which is so inspiring. This is one in my series of abstracted floral paintings, focussing on vibrant colour, and inspired by the joy of flowers, weeds and grasses in the landscape.

This 120x90cm canvas is unframed, it has white painted borders and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.

I use top quality Golden acrylics, and spend time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.
