Original artwork description:

This is a heavily textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by the landscapes close to my home on the Shropshire / Wales border, and based on my sketches on a very sunny but very cold day recently.

I used principally acrylics, oil pastels, Inktense sticks, charcoal and pencil, and also layered, partially removed and cut into the work to create a textured and weathered feel to the painting.

Please note: the painting is not framed, but the second photo shows it in a frame for illustration purposes.

Materials used:

Acrylics, oil pastels, charcoal powder
