Clear, balanced and positive – is how I feel when I look at ‘Ceindeg’.

I was once again drawn to using my favourite combination of colours, but I wanted to create a calm feel at the same time. Using the grey to balance out the colour and wide, clear shapes and sections I am pleased with the end result. I love looking at it and in particular how the paint covers the edge, creating the appearance of the paint disappearing into the wall. I haven’t framed ‘Ceindeg’ for this reason.

She is a fairly large piece, at 100 x 80 cm, with a thick edge of 4.5cm. ‘Ceindeg’ has 10 different colours and so goes with pretty much everything. I have signed her on the back, so that she can be hung at any orientation.
