This piece is a Pastel on Pastel Mat board. The rich bright colors accentuate the subtle reflective colors of the belly of the bird feasting on the Ash tree flowers in Spring. Fascinating, beautiful bird to draw and commonly found in Maine. I will be doing more of these beauties!
He is 12 W x 9 H and matted to a size of 16 W x 12 H, framed in a plain black frame at 17.75 W x 13.75 H. Buy the American Redstart with the same components and size, and you have a fantastic grouping for your wall.
