Original artwork description:
I spent most of the summer painting this portrait of Cecil after he was so brutally murdered in Zimbabwe by a trophy hunter. I will donate all the profit from this sale to the David Shepherd Wildlife foundation who are doing such great work at the Hawange National Park where Cecil lived with his pride. Thanks to Ed Hetherington who allowed me to use his stunning photograph of Cecil for reference.
